Pre-Loved Uniform Shop

At the back of the walled carpark, in the Dovecote building, is the Pre-loved Uniform Shop.

Run entirely by RSPA volunteers, the shop is stocked with good quality, pre-loved uniform; it has plenty of trousers, grey blazers, shirts and jumpers, all at low prices. It also sells pre-loved PE and Games kit, rugby boots, trainers, base layers, cricket whites, lab coats, plimsolls… almost everything you need for students from Y7 -Y11. Additionally, there is a small stock of revision guides and textbooks for KS3, GCSE and A Level.

The shop is stocked with both donated items and items rescued from the large amount of un-named lost property that is found around the school. All items are carefully checked for quality and washed before being sorted, labelled and put out for sale in the shop.

As a result of this, the RSPA help support the wider Reading School family by providing a wide choice of pre-loved uniform at a fraction of the cost of purchasing new. Most items cost less than a third of the original retail price.

The shop has two openings every half-term, usually on the penultimate Friday and Saturday.

Details of the opening times are posted in the Headmasters Bulletin, in the RSPA managed Whatsapp and Facebook groups and on Classlist (a messaging service for families who have joined the RSPA).

All money raised by the Pre-Loved Uniform Shop goes towards supporting the students at Reading School.
